1. False Rumors about Camporee
A. NOT TRUE: There is not enough food at surrounding grocery stores to provide for Camporee attendants. WHAT IS TRUE: The Camporee has been working with area grocery stores, Walmart Corporate, and local Walmart leadership to make sure needs are met. The June BTP newsletter will have a pre-order Walmart form for food, camping supplies, etc.
B. NOT TRUE: The US Government is checking the legal status of Pathfinders coming to Camporee.
WHAT IS TRUE: This is completely false.

2. Arrival Days
A. Registration offices are open Monday, August 5 from 8am to midnight/Tuesday, August 6 from 8am to midnight. B. No one is allowed on the campgrounds before 8am on August 5th. The only exceptions are those with written permission from Conference, Union, or Division Club Ministry Directors (must have official letterhead and names listed.)
C. Camping campground areas will be closed to vehicle traffic (entering and exiting) at 5pm on Tuesday August 6.

8. RV Parking & Rental Options
A. All Recreational Vehicles kept in conference camping areas must by approved by the Conference Club Ministry Director.
B. If for any reason your RV will not fit into your conference camping area, there will be a overflow RV park provided, but there are no hookups or electricity.
C. For off-site community public RV parks, not connected to the camporee, go here. ( Scroll to Campgrounds & RV Rentals).
D. If you are still looking for an RV to rent, we suggest you advertise in the Gillette local newspaper or look at Facebook Marketplace.

- Shuttle Bus Staffers-
-Bus staff will be assigned to manning gates, checking wristbands for appropriate ages, directing pathfinders to the correct gate and corral and more. -Hours will be Tuesday 11:30am -6:00pm and Wednesday- Friday 7:30am - 6:00pm. -Volunteers are responsible for their own ticket, meals and transportation. Tent and RV lodging spots are available in the volunteer camping area.

Pathfinder Community Parade | |

All Volunteers will need to be able to stand for long periods of time from Noon-5 PM on Sabbath, August 10, 2024.
• Timing Station Coordinator – Individual will place each entry into the Parade and oversee maintaining the parade rate of movement. • Club Check-in & Check-Out Coordinator – Individual will oversee verifying each Club entry at Cam-Plex Staging area and be responsible for verifying the entries back into Cam-Plex. • Off-Site Check-in Coordinator – Individual will oversee verifying and placing each Unit/Club loading back onto the bus for the return trip to Cam-Plex. Reports to Bus Coordinator. • Bus Coordinator – Responsible for placing each Pathfinder Unit on the assigned bus and keeping track of which Club is on each bus. Will manage the Bus Monitors and coordinate with Bus Dispatcher. • Bus Monitor – Rides the Bus and will be managed by a Bus Coordinator and identifying which Club is on each trip and reports back to the Bus Manager the status of each trip. • Parade Marshalls – In charge of managing and staging the parade. • Safety Patrol – Maintaining safety along the Parade route and assisting the city workers with clean-up around their assigned areas. • Safety Patrol Coordinator – Responsible for managing the Safety Patrol Unit from the EOC. • Review Stand – Coordinates and administrates the Review Stand VIP’s and Dignitaries and the Salutes. • Vehicle Coordinator – Responsible for the staging of all Marching and Walking Units. At the end of the parade make sure the area is completely clean. • Walking Unit Coordinator – Responsible for the staging of all the Marching and Units. Responsible for the staging of all the Marching and Units. • Food Coordinator – Responsible for water distribution and snacks at the Relief Stations and at the end of the parade. • Gift Bags – Responsible for coordinating the team that assembles the Gift Bags for the Parade route giveaway. • Equestrian Coordinator – Responsible for the staging of all Equestrian entries. Will also manage the space and make sure it is clean at the end of the parade. • Relief Station Coordinator – Will create 6 Relief Stations along the Parade Route and a Reunification Center at the end of the parade to refresh and provide basic medical aid.
